The steel grid structure with welded alumina hollow ball nodes has the characteristics of large span, high strength, light weight, beautiful appearance, and no need for support. So what are the precautions for the installation of alumina hollow balls?
Alumina hollow ball installation precautions:
1. Welding balls are used in the grid processing. The geometric dimensions of the grid rods should be strictly controlled, and the allowable error is ±1mm. If the rods cannot be installed, the reason should be found out, and random cutting is not allowed.
2. It is advisable to paint the surface paint 1-2 degrees before the assembly of welded ball net frame rods and small units to reduce high-altitude operations. After the grid is completed, brush it twice. For parts damaged by welding, installation or oil stains, primer and topcoat should be applied after frosting treatment. The type, performance and thickness of paint film layers shall meet the design requirements.
3. The welding of the welding ball grid material should be carried out in the welding process test, and only after passing the test can a large number of welding be allowed. The butt weld of the ball tube and the tie rod according to the design requirements must be fully welded; the quality of the hollow ball should be randomly checked; the axis elevation must be rechecked during installation.
4. The size of the small and medium-sized tires must meet the high-precision requirements, and be carried out according to the allowable deviation of the steel structure construction acceptance specification, so as to avoid cumulative errors and affect the overall installation quality.
The grid-welded alumina hollow ball has high gas velocity, many blades, little resistance, and the surface area is large enough to easily and effectively solve the gas-liquid exchange; the operation flexibility is very large, and there are many advantages, so it is widely used in most engineering and construction industries . The steel grid structure is welded by steel hollow balls or pipes and steel pipes, and its welds include ball joints and pipe joints. At present, large-diameter welded ball joints appear in the market. This joint is now widely used in pipe truss engineering as a joint for large-span, large-scale box girders and H-beams.
